After months of anticipation, Boygenius has released three new songs, and news about the 2023 album is coming soon. The RecordBut before the supergroup returned, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julian Baker released music as solo artists.
Speaking of her “simple pride” in working with other chart-topping band members, Baker said:

the boy is back In 2018, boygenius released his self-titled EP, “Me & My Dog,” which has over 30 million plays on his Spotify. Featuring six of his new songs across the collection, Boygenius performed live on his Tiny Desk Series on NPR.
This was not the end of the collaboration, as the Bridgers had occasional concerts with Dacas and Baker as opening acts and featured guests. In 2023, these artists will also release his first three songs from upcoming albums: “$20,” “Emily I’m Sorry,” and “True Blue.”

Baker has created music outside of his role in boygenius. One of her most popular songs is “Appointments” released in 2017. Turn off the lightsStill, working with Dacus and Bridgers helped her feel “ambitious” in the group.

The Record “Side A” and “Side B” are recorded, each containing 6 new songs. The A-sides are “Without You Without Them”, “$20”, “Emily Sorry”, “True Blue”, “Cool About It” and “Not Strong Enough”. The B-side is “Revolution 0”, “Leonard Cohen”, “Satanist”, “We’re In Love”, “Anti-Curse”, and “Letter To An Old Poet”.
