Nominated by Austin music experts, of austin chronicle has announced the finalists for the 2022/2023 Austin Music Poll. Representing a variety of musical genres and styles, these Music Poll nominees are shaping today’s Austin music scene. The multiple-choice ballot is open to the public and will run until midnight on January 30th. Voting can be done online vote.austinchronicle.com Or by ballot in the latest issue of the paper Chronicle.
Music fans can vote for their favorite among five nominees in each of the poll’s 51 categories, including Song of the Year, Band of the Year, Best New Act, Best Record Store and Best New Club.

“This year’s Austin Music Pole felt very creative. Like the immersive industrial noise of Blank Hellscape next to the festival-sized rock of Spoon from Band of the Year, we were able to explore a wide variety of genres and scenes. All the artists who took part in the vote had a big year in 2022 for different reasons, and we’ve grouped them all together in one celebratory space.
