Boy band Tomorrow X Together is rocking Japan with their latest EP ‘The Name Chapter: Temptation’ on Saturday, landing at the top of Japan’s Oricon music chart daily album ranking chart.

The EP sold 184,971 copies in Japan on its release date on Friday, breaking the record of 179,421 copies sold by last year’s fourth EP, Minisword 2: Thursday’s Child.

The EP also topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in Japan, and the music video for the lead track “Sugar Rush Ride” became the most popular music video on YouTube in Japan.

“Sugar Rush Ride” did well in other countries as well, reaching number 38 on Friday’s global music streaming service Spotify’s latest Daily Top Songs Global Chart. Other songs included on the EP also landed on the charts, such as “Tingling in the Ears” at No. 70 and “Devil on the Window” at No. 73.

“The Name Chapter: Temptation” sold 1,868,919 copies on its first day, making Tomorrow X Together the first boy band since BTS to sell over 1.8 million albums on its first day.

“Name Chapter” is a new album series starting from the “Mini Sword” series, which tells the story of various temptations that the members face on their journey towards self-growth.
