Sutton Foster Says Goodbye to THE MUSIC MAN With Video Featuring Backstage Moments

The Music Man stars two-time Tony Award®, Grammy® and Emmy® Award-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and Sutton Foster as Marian Palou.

The production broke the Winter Garden Theater’s previous box office record for a total of 48 weekly performances and was performed to an audience of 487,000 worldwide.

Music Man is directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Sachs and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle. The creative team includes four-time Tony Award winner Santo Locusto (landscape and costume design), five-time Tony Award winner Brian McDevitt (lighting design), Tony Award winner Scott Lehler (sound design), Campbell Young and Associates Luc Verschulen (hair, wig and makeup design), Tony Award winner Jonathan Tunick (orchestration), David Chase (vocals and dance arrangements) and Patrick Vaccariello (music director).

One of America’s most widely beloved treasures of musical theater, The Music Man was an instant hit when it premiered on Broadway on December 19, 1957. 1,375 performances. The Smithsonian Institution ranks Music Man as one of his “greatest glories of American popular culture”. The official cast recording of The Music Man’s history-making production is now available on all music streaming his platforms and has been released by Accidental Jacket Entertainment.
