Stormzy is working on new music.
The 29-year-old rapper, who released his chart-topping third album, This Is What I Mean, just two months ago, is already in the studio working on new material.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Storzy is not happy and has already written and recorded new material.
“Artistically, he looks to be the strongest and most creative to date.
“Stormzy is doing some work at Qube studios in London.
“He added a new track to his songwriting database earlier this month.
“The track is called ‘Fire’ and is said to be a potential hit.”
And it’s believed that Stormzy may release another album this year.
The insider added: “People around Stormzy think the song could spawn another album.
“It’s really empowering, inspiring and in the vein of ‘This Is What I Mean’.
“His label is really excited about what they’re hearing and it shouldn’t surprise anyone if Stormzy strikes while the iron is hot and releases new music this year.
“It’s a very exciting time for him.”
Stormzy is nominated for three BRIT Awards next month for his third album, including Best British Album, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act and Artist of the Year.
