Static-X announces new album Project: Regeneration Vol., featuring the final recording of the late frontman Wayne Static. As a teaser for the upcoming album, the group performed Nine Inch Nails’ hit “Terrible Lie.

Project: Regeneration Vol. is slated for a November 3 release, following the studio’s first new 2020 release in the wake of Wayne’s death. Project: Regeneration Vol..
“I am very happy Project: Regeneration Vol. is finally finished and now longtime producer Ulrich Wild is mixing the album. The only thing left is for the vinyl production to be completed,” Campos commented. “I am proud Project: Regeneration Vol. and Project: Regeneration Vol., we were able to bring fans 25 brand new Static-X songs. Most of them feature Wayne Static on lead vocals. Only a few years ago, no one could have imagined that such a thing would be possible. “
Other than the aforementioned members, no outside musicians will be contributing to the songwriting, composition or performance of any future albums.
Wayne’s sister Amy said, “We all miss Wayne so much and are so proud of how the band has chosen to honor him through the completion of his last production. Continuing to highlight his presence on the show, it’s incredible to see fans continue to connect with the band’s music and the memory of Wayne. We fully support the journey and know that Wayne is extremely grateful for all the efforts Tony, Ken, Koichi and Xer0 have done over the past few years.”
