Sam Smith isn’t ready for “Lose You” yet.
On Wednesday (February 9th), Smith released the official lyric video for the track “Lose You” from his fourth studio album. GloriaCreated on an iPad, the video begins with a brightly colored illustration of Smith sitting and relaxing to the tune of a song. Then, as the tune picks up, they begin to constantly mutate and morph into different forms.
The new clip was brought to life by illustrator Loreta Isac. Using her Procreate app for iPad Pro, the creator says she was inspired by Smith’s evocative lyrics and immediately came up with the concept. “I really fell in love with the imagination part of creating the lyric video because it allowed me to feel the verse of the song and translate it into unexpected visual emotion and animation,” she said in a statement. said in
