Meanwhile, frontman Wesley previously revealed that the album’s title track was recorded in one day.
In a statement about the track, he said:
“It’s like a 15-year-old’s feverish dream, an American love story full of glory and heartbreak. The last couple ran away from something and left alone.”
The simplicity of the album was inspired by the likes of Billy Joel and Bob Dylan.
Wesley says: He can play this for his 4-year-old son, but it’s a song that made the song feel sophisticated as well.
