New York’s Kemasantos has posted a second music video (via Digmetalworld/MVD distribution) in the form of a clip for the track “Kemasantos” from their latest album of the same name. Check out the clip below.
Drummer Ignacio Orellana commented:I wanted to say goodbye to this year with a small video of an acoustic track away from the hard hit sound. Here we wanted to explore the classic acoustic instrumental sounds of guitars on an 80s thrash metal track, accompanied by images of a rainy night in the city. As a band we feel inspired by their sound and wanted to leave something to remind us of the great times of thrash metal.“
Guitarist Regisson ‘Reggie’ Silva adds:From time to time, we all have some kind of deep, dark feeling in our hearts. The moment when you lose your sense of meaning and lose hope and dreams. We all have this and it comes up again from time to time. At some point I decided to turn it into a song. A few deep, sad arpeggios of minor chords came out, and I was able to translate a little bit of what I was feeling. Try to spit out all the shit.“
