Pink outselling Inhaler nearly 2:1 on course to claim fourth UK Number 1 album with ‘Trustfall’


Pink are on their way to a fourth UK Number 1 album, but Trustfall currently outperform their closest competitors by almost 2:1.

American pop icon — real name Alecia Moore — has teamed up with Max Martin, Fred again.., The Lumineers and more for her ninth studio LP. ), Beautiful Trauma (2017), Hurts 2B Human (2019).

The Trustfall release also features Pink’s 2010 compilation Greatest Hits – So Far!!! Soaring for UK top 40 re-entry (34).

Irish rock band Inhaler follow at No. 2 for the week with their sophomore record Cuts & Bruises. In 2021, they set their first debut record in 13 years with ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, becoming the first Irish act to top the official album chart.

Welsh rock band Those Damn Crows from Bridgend in South Wales are set to score their first UK Top 10 album with Inhale/Exhale (3). They previously made their chart debut in 2020 with Point of No Return (14).

Having rounded out four possible new Top 5 entries this week, British electronic duo Orbital could secure a fourth Top 10 album with Optical Delusion (4), also their first in 24 years.

Outside the Top 10, Newcastle hard rock band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs are on track for their first Top 40 album with Land of Sleeper (19).

Finally, Liverpool new wave band A Flock Of Seagulls’ self-titled 1982 debut album could reach new peaks thanks to its 30th anniversary reissue (21). The record reached his No. 32 spot on its initial release.
