Oshkosh Winter Farmers Market
The Oshkosh Winter Farmers Market continues through April with Craft Show Market Day on February 11th at the Oshkosh Arena, 1212 S. Main Street, and April 8th at the Oshkosh Convention Center, 2 N. Main Street. The downtown farmers market starts June 3rd.
Downtown Oshkosh Chocolate Stroll
Downtown Oshkosh’s Chocolate Stroll, celebrating its second year on February 11, invites guests to tour downtown while eating chocolate treats at designated stops. Tickets are $20 at downtownoshkosh.com.
EAA Winter Flight Fest
The EAA Winter Flight Fest invites aviation enthusiasts and their children for a hands-on experience on February 11th from 8am to 4pm at the EAA Aviation Museum (3000 Poberezny Road). There will be a flying simulator, an experimental X-Plane and wind tunnel pararescue challenge, an airplane model building contest, and a skiplane fly-in. Admission for all non-EAA members, except ski planes, is $12.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors 62 and over, $9.50 for children ages 6 to 18, and free for children 5 and under.
Amplify the Oshkosh Conference
Amplify Oshkosh, an information technology organization through the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, held its annual meeting on March 7, where Colan Treml, the chamber’s director of economic development, called it “modernizing change.” We have a keynote speaker from Vancouver who will discuss the These conferences help Amplify achieve its goal of empowering companies and professionals with technology, providing them with opportunities and resources to grow as technology advances.
Promote Leadership Breakfast
Another opportunity for young professionals is Propel, hosting a leadership breakfast for members at the MToxins Venom Lab, followed by volunteer opportunities at the Oshkosh Community Pantry on February 20th. For more information, visit propeloshkosh.net.
spring festival
The annual Paynes Festival of Spring Plants and Vendor Sale takes place on the corner of Elmwood and Congress Avenues on May 20, featuring a wide selection of perennials and over 100 stalls selling arts, crafts and garden supplies. Vendors participate. The festival also includes live entertainment and free admission to Paine Mansion and Gardens.

Tickets for the Oshkosh West High School SpongeBob Musical performance are available through the Grand Oshkosh website, but the performance will take place at the Alberta Kimball Auditorium, 375 N. Eagle Street. January 28th and January 29th at 2pm.
