Niall Horan has claimed that the songs he recorded with Lewis Capaldi were “not good enough” and that it “won’t make sense” to release them.
The former One Direction singer has admitted he’s been in the recording studio with the “Someone You Loved” hitmaker, but the track they made together isn’t set to see the light of day.
He told the Daily Star’s Wired column:
“They were clearly not good enough.
“One of them was actually decent to be fair. I do not think.”
The 28-year-old singer admitted that he hasn’t been spending much time with Lewis lately because he’s trying to refrain from partying.
he laughed
“I’ve been trying to stay away from him because he’s just a legend and usually involves a lot of drinking. The hangover goes fast, fast and strong.”
Niall is currently focused on his “more mature” third solo LP, The Show, due out in June.
He said of the album:
“It sounds bolder and more mature. The thoughts are bigger, the production sounds more mature across the board, but still has a baby voice.”
