Luke Grimes debut country song “no horse to ride]is now on sale. Grimes, who has written new material with Jonathan Singleton and Tony Lane, is also credited with percussion and acoustic guitar on tracks produced by Dave Cobb.

“I kind of think of music as my first love. It was my first creative outlet,” says Grimes. “To be at the beginning of this journey of getting my music out there is beyond a dream come true. I will do my best to be honest with you.”

Grimes is widely known for his role as Keith Dutton on TV’s #1 show. yellowstonehas made no secret of his love of music, and now his own song “No Horse To Ride” is set to be featured in the show’s mid-season finale on Jan. 1 (Paramount Network).

3Ukrainian Choir Dumka in New York





New York’s Ukrainian Choir Dumka teamed up with conductors Vasyl Klechinsky and Haley & Michaels for the 100th anniversary of “Carol of the Bells,” based on the Ukrainian song “Shchedric.” . The Power of Music released a fantastic tribute honoring two different traditions today, Friday, December 16th.

Written in 1916 by composer Mykola Leontovich, “Shchedryk” is traditionally sung by Ukrainian caroling boys who go from house to house in town, singing and wishing their neighbors a happy new year. I prayed. Christian folk song. However, in 1922, the song was first performed on American soil at Carnegie Hall by the Ukrainian National Choir conducted by Alexander Koschetz. A little over a decade later, Peter Wilhouseski wrote new lyrics for the piece, and “Carol of the Bells” was born. Since then, the song has become an integral part of the repertoire of choirs, orchestras and popular singers, helping to make it a holiday staple.
