The Hermosa Beach music community gathered at the Hermosa Music Company to celebrate the 17th Annual Rock for Tots Charity Concert. The gathering took place on Saturday, December 10th, in the heart of Hermosa’s industrial/arts district.

Toys collected at the concert were donated to the Beach Cities Toy drive.

The Schockboxx Gallery next door to the Hermosa Music Company opened its doors to a teeming crowd.

Founder of Rock for Tots Jeremy Buck and Hermosa Music Company Kevin SousaCo-sponsored and appeared.

“It’s a labor of love, and for some reason we change it every year,” Buck said. “It used to be a simple show at the Lighthouse, then moved to City Tree Lighting at Pier Plaza. We do both live shows and live streams, and it’s really cool to be able to bring together so many creative minds here in the South Bay.

“With Russ Gilbert and his technical livestream prowess, the HMC crew (Steve Aguilar and Zeal Levin mixing the sounds) and my wife (Caroline Buck), she runs the world.

“We built HMC for these,” says Sousa. “We are very excited to host a community event to support local charities. Lots of great music, lots of great people.”

Project Barley served beer, and taco trucks served hawker tacos.

Chamber of Commerce Chairman Jessica Acamando opened the door with her sponsor, SkyOne Federal Credit Union’s Franco Ayala.
