Music Production for Women (MPW) is offering four scholarships to women and non-binary individuals who participate in the organization’s new “Master Your Music” program.
The program gives recipients access to weekly masterclasses on music production, mixing, marketing, sound design, and other skills rooted in the music industry.
MPW courses are taught by subject matter experts, including audio engineers Ramera Abraham (Adele, Stormzy, Little Mix) and Lillian Frances (Sylvan Esso, Shakey Graves). In addition to masterclasses, students also receive monthly group instruction sessions to help them focus on their personal musical goals for the coming year.
MPW founder Xylo Aria said in a press statement: “Most importantly, it’s an absolute pleasure to see the confidence my students have gained in making their own music a reality when it previously seemed unlikely.”

Distrokid, Yamaha Music Australia and Veva Collect support ‘Master Your Music’ in hopes of giving equal access and opportunities to women in the music industry. In total, the program offers her over $9,000 in specialized courses, mentorship support, and more.
This year-long program follows the organization’s two-day Women in Music Tech Summit in October 2022. The event, free to attend and broadcast live in over 120 countries, inspired female and non-binary aspiring musicians to take the first step towards achieving their goals. goal of music production.
To participate, students must have their own laptop, headphones, and a copy of Ableton. Each scholarship winner will receive an Ableton Live Intro. Applications for this program close on February 6th at 11:59 PM GMT. Learn more and apply for scholarships here.
