Liam Payne and Niall Horan congratulated former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles after winning Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The British singer took home the biggest award of the night for her album Harry’s House, beating out the likes of Beyoncé, Adele and Coldplay.
Reacting to his former bandmate’s success on Monday, Liam shared a black-and-white photo of Harry proudly looking down at the gramophone trophy, congratulating him in the caption.
“Wow… this image is truly eye-opening. When you’re writing music like Harry, you deserve every millisecond of that moment when you’re smiling and looking down at the trophies you’ve won. Congrats brother ” he posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Neil posted an image on his Instagram story, watching Harry’s key moments on TV.
He simply wrote, “So proud (I love the heart emoji) @harrystyles.”
“There’s no such thing as ‘best music,'” Harry told a star-studded audience at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, after receiving the Album of the Year award.
“I don’t think any of us are sitting in the studio and making decisions based on getting any of these things,” he continued. “This is really, really kind.
Earlier that night, Harry performed his song “As It Was,” winning Best Pop Vocal Album at Harry’s House and winning a total of three Grammy Awards.
