The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra has appointed Julian Rachlin as its new music director.
The organization said the orchestra will begin its 85th anniversary celebrations with the announcement that Rachlin will begin his tenure in October 2023.

Over the years, Rachlin has become widely recognized as one of the most celebrated violinists and orchestra conductors of his generation.
