Last month, he released an “upbeat pop song” titled “One and Only” that can be streamed on all platforms. According to Dollinger, the track is about “being alone and missing someone who made you feel complete.” The song can also be interpreted as a story about taking some time after a breakup and losing the feeling of being in a relationship.

Celebrity Secrets: For People Who May Only Know You By Appearing On Shows Like Sydney to the Maxcan you tell us a little bit about your musical style and who you are as an artist?

Jackson Dollinger: “I would say my sound is melodic, warm and natural. I also produce, compose and record my own music in my home studio.”

CS: How does working in the music industry compare to working in the film/TV industry?

JD: “Well, in the TV/Film industry, the director makes most of the creative decisions. , I make all the decisions.”

CS: New single “One and Only” released on November 11th. Can you tell us a little bit about the story behind the truck?

JD: “‘One and Only’ is an upbeat pop song about being alone and missing the person who made you feel complete. It can also be interpreted as a story about losing the sense of being in.

CS: “One and Only” was written, recorded and produced by you. How was the experience of creating your own tracks? Would you have liked more creative freedom?

JD: “‘One and Only’ was written in my home studio exactly a year and a half ago when I had just turned 14. I actually wrote the beat, recorded the first verse and pre-chorus, then I added the hook about a month later.. I love music because I have complete creative freedom to make whatever my heart desires.”

CS: During the COVID-19 lockdown, you were making music in quarantine in your home studio. What was that experience like?

JD: “I wasn’t working during quarantine. Sydney to the Max And it took hours to burn. I decided to be productive and work on my music every day. I have found that music is a vehicle for venting my emotions. It was actually very therapeutic. After months of working every day, we’ve picked the songs we want to share on our first EP. social isolation was born. “

CS: What is your process for writing songs in general? Are there any quirks to your method?

JD: “I always start with a beat, which could be produced by me or someone else. Choose a vocal melody to use for each part of the song. Then fill in the tweet with lyrics and you have a song! This is a rough outline of my process, but I am constantly changing small things to keep it fresh. ”

CS: I wrote this song when I was just 14 years old. Did you grow as an artist after that?

JD: “Absolutely. I work on music every day and I’m still learning new things all the time. My voice has gotten deeper and my production and songwriting skills have improved exponentially. I’ve reached such a level that I can’t wait to share the new music I’m working on.I feel like I’m improving every time I open my laptop.”

CS: You started making music at a very young age. Any advice for young singers/songwriters who want to jump into the music industry but are afraid to make the leap?

JD: “I think there are literally no rules, just follow! All you need is a laptop and some free time to get started.”

CS: What story would you like your songs to tell in the future, and what message would you like your music to convey to your fans?

JD: “I want my music to be relatable and resonate with my supporters on a personal level. I hope my music brightens their day.”

CS: Who/what do you draw your musical inspiration from as an artist or in your personal life?

JD: “Some of the artists and producers who have influenced me are: juice world, Nick Mila, Justin Bieber, John Dior, Dro KenjiWhen machine gun kellyI’m very inspired by the underground and hyper-pop sound that’s prevalent in some of my unreleased music at the moment. ”

CS: Who is your dream collaboration?

JD: “I would love to collaborate sword I think our sounds work well together and he seems like such a cool guy!”

JD: “We have enough songs to make a strong album, but we want to keep writing songs and keep dropping more singles.”

CS: Tell us more about your character Gavin. And what was it like playing this role?

JD: “I am very happy to have the opportunity to showcase another side of my acting. Life by EllaWhen Ella arrives at the hospital to begin her journey, Gavin has already been treated for cancer. JD: “I want to be in movies and I also want to make music for movies and shows.”
