Music discovery website Tunefind’s year-end rankings are based solely on traffic and interactions on the website and help fans identify songs they’ve heard on TV shows and movies. Grey’s Anatomy Appearing on the Top TV Songs of the Month list multiple times throughout the year, the two songs featured in the 18th season also feature on Tunefind’s year-end song rankings. Tommee Proffitt and Fleurie’s “Chasing Cars” and Davis Naish’s “The Story” were both heard in the season finale, which aired on May 26. Profitt and Fleurie’s entry was originally released on Snow Patrol’s 2006 original (Billboard 5 on the Hot 100) and Naish is a cover of Brandi Carlile’s ‘The Story’ (No. 75, 2007).
