Music Compound, the local Sarasota music school on Cattlemen Road, will be celebrating the opening of the new Music Compound MAN Bradenton at the Family Fun Festival on Saturday, January 14th. From 12:00pm to 4:00pm, guests can enjoy live music by students of all ages, bounce houses, kids’ activities, food trucks, beer samples from Big Top Brewing Company, and tours of the facility. Held from noon to 4 p.m., the event is free and open to the public.
Music Compound opened its Bradenton location (located at 4740 SR64, just west of I-75 at Braden River Business Park) last summer to offer a two-week introductory music summer camp in late July. An expansion was needed as the Cattlemen location was fully booked. The new 4,500-square-foot space features 13 spacious studios and music lounges where young students can socialize, relax, and transition from school time to music-enriching programs. The location offers children’s lessons, including Kidz Rock and Modern Band programs, for young people in the area who want to grow musically and socially. These programs foster team building, boost confidence, and build performance skills. Adult programs available include private and group lessons and jam sessions for those who want to play music while meeting new people.
“We have clients who have been asking us to consider a location in Manatee County for quite some time,” says Music Compound owner Jenny Townsend. “We have students who have been commuting for years from Parrish and Lakewood Ranch.

I wanted to create a music community,” Townsend says. “Over time, we have built a place where members’ families and staff feel like part of the family, where instructors have the creative freedom to express their passions while adhering to certain standards. aspiring artists of all skill levels can gain confidence, even if they do not pursue music professionally, they will carry them through their lives. I feel very lucky that
