Chicago radio ratings: Holiday music overload

👋 Hi, I’m Justin! Even if he wasn’t ready to jingle in early November, Chicago loved his takeover on WLIT-FM’s Christmas in December.

state of play: Light Rock Station’s holiday season song doubled in ratings last month.

• V-103, WBBM-AM, WLS-FM also increased.
• Mix continues to climb toward the top spot after falling during the scandal surrounding former star Eric Ferguson.

Opposite side: Drive remained in second place, albeit with lower rating numbers.

• WOJO, WXRT and WBEZ also fell from November.

conspiracy: Our sports talk station is #1 in overall ratings heading into 2023.

• Scores (1.9) and ESPN 1000 (1.6) place it 20th and 21st in the market respectively.
• Scores dropped in December despite broadcasting the Bulls game.
• Sunday is the final Bears broadcast on WBBM-AM. Next year, the Bears will transition radio broadcasts to his ESPN 1000.
