Carolina Country Music Awards show is Saturday at House of Blues Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Country music fans flock to the House of Blues in Barefoot Landing for the Carolina Country Music Awards show on Saturday night.

Christy “Sweet Tea” Andrulonis will host the event alongside News13 Chief Meteorologist Frank Johnson.

Johnson and Andorronis will award local artists in 14 different categories. The event features local artists from both North and South Carolina.

Artists will take to the House of Blues stage to perform songs that aired at the 2022 Carolina Artists Showdown.

Live performances from The Blue Pickups, Kevin Nichols, Greg Parrish, Bailey Morrison and Erik Hawks are scheduled.

“CCMA gives musicians the opportunity to be recognized for their efforts,” says Andrulonis. “The show is also a way for fans to connect with the musicians. ”

Winners are selected by a panel of music and broadcast industry judges.

The red carpet will begin at 5pm and the award ceremony will continue until 11:30pm.
