Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz is a mermaid captured in PETA’s new advertising campaign.
To encourage metal fans to go vegan and stop eating seafood, it shows the environmental impact of fishing, not to mention cruelty to animals.
White-Gluz, like her partner, Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, is a longtime vegan. Fishing and the pollution it causes are the biggest contributors to declining ocean health and water quality.
