50 Cent & Fox Entertainment Enter Non-Exclusive Multi-Project Deal


50 Cent and Fox Entertainment have agreed to a non-exclusive, multi-project broadcast direct deal.

Fox Entertainment’s President of Script Programming announced on Tuesday (Feb. 14) Michael Thorne50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) develops scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series for FOX. Series produced under this deal will be owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by in-house unit FOX Entertainment Studios, in partnership with G-Unit Film & Television. ”

“Whether it’s music, film or television, Curtis consistently delivers premium entertainment that attracts millions of fans around the world,” Thorn said in a press release. “He is one of the few multi-hyphenates with masterful storytelling regardless of format or medium. I look forward to working with him and his team on developing FOX’s new and exciting series.”

Add 50. The streaming, scripted and unscripted slate continues to grow in all directions. ”

“My run was so uncomfortable that everyone wanted to forget it happened. So we couldn’t be friendly, and the biggest compliment in the early stages was that the artists felt like they were successful when they got the deal. I didn’t.”
