Puerto Rican artist Residente teams up with Academy Award-winning screenwriter Alexander Dineraris (birdman & ghost) to co-write his new film Puerto RicoThe film is a historical drama set in the 19th century and based on the life of Puerto Rican revolutionary José Maldonado Roman, known as Aguila Blanca (The White Eagle). Maldonado Roman fought colonialism by leading a gang of 17 ex-convicts to defend Puerto Rico as it sought a national identity.
Porto Rico will be the first film to be released by 1868 Studios, a joint venture between Residente and Sony Music Entertainment’s premium content division.
NEON16 Partners with University of Michigan

The First Latin Female Music Ever Is Happening
with Telemundo billboard announced an expanded partnership for 2023.
